The story of the brand begins with the grandmother; Josephine, an elegant and determined woman. She fell in love with the owners' grandfather one summer in Bordeaux, while he was learning to make French wine to take his production to La Rioja.

His grandmother's French charm made him fall at her feet, and within two months they decided to get married and move to Logroño.

There, in her new home, she began to think about producing top-quality products that could transport her back to her native France: in some things, such as stubbornness, she always seemed more traditional than French.

Josephine began by selecting the best flours from local producers and replicating the recipes from her childhood, perfecting the recipe until she achieved elegant, thin and crunchy biscuits, full of flavour. A healthy and unique product that delighted travellers who stopped in Haro.

Josephine decided to open a tea room. There, she would sell what she made in the workshop, while creating a meeting place for neighbours, friends and travellers who stayed overnight in Haro to catch the same train that took their products to France.

Soon his salon became an essential meeting place, not only for the delicacies he served, but also because it was a friendly and avant-garde meeting point where one could find out everything that was happening in the rest of Europe.

And this is where Josephine's grandchildren come in, who have wanted to continue the tradition and achieve their great dream: to be able to share their wonderful creations with people all over the world. They preserve their original recipe and their know-how, as well as that world of dreams and memories that they have wanted to capture in their collection of biscuits and crackers.

And although life has evolved a lot and our world is more digital than ever, let us at least take care of the quality and historical products that keep our origins alive.
