We live in a very important moment for paella in the world. We are also immersed in a reality, that of lack of time, or the difficulty of obtaining seasonal ingredients outside of Valencian territory. A Fuego thus becomes an easy, fast and high-quality resource.
Wood-smoked Albufera rice. Broth slowly cooked with carefully selected local products, over fire. Each box contains all the products necessary to prepare a Valencian paella for 4 people in just 20 minutes. We recommend using a paella pan with a diameter of 38-42 cm.
CONTENT
In each box you will find all the necessary ingredients to cook black rice following chef Quique Dacosta's recipe. It includes a pack of wood-smoked Valencian Albufera rice, a jar with slowly cooked homemade broth and a second jar with the necessary ingredients to cook black rice with cuttlefish, baby garlic and baby octopus at home.
From each box you can enjoy 4 servings.

Albufera Rice (DO Valencia)
The pack also contains an airtight envelope of smoked rice DO Valencia Albufera variety. This is one of its peculiarities, the firewood point provided by the smoking of the rice with vine shoots, which will take the consumer to the purest and most desired moment of a rice made A Fuego: the field, the firewood.
Instructions
Before you get on the stove, keep in mind that this rice can be made in any kitchen. If you are going to use induction hobs, you must use a suitable container with a diffuser bottom so that the heat is distributed evenly. We recommend using a paella pan with a diameter of 38-42 cm.
- Shake both cans gently.
- Pour the contents of the 2 cans into a 38-42cm paella pan.
- Heat on the stove/induction/vitro, stirring gently until it starts to boil.
- Add the contents of the bag of smoked rice to the wood (400g), shake to homogenize and cook over high heat for 3 min.
- Cook over low heat and at a minimum boil for approximately 16 min.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
PREPARATION FOR TWO
The A Fuego rice recipes are designed to be cooked for four people. But it can also be used for two people, and for two occasions. The secret is easy, just divide the rice, broth and ingredients in half and add a little water.
Pairing: It is recommended to enjoy it with a sparkling wine or a very cold white wine. We recommend it in Made in Spain GourmetOf course, with a good white wine, Penedés, Verdejo, Alvariño, or why not a Premium cava, a vermouth or a frizzante like La Mundial.
