The Koroneiki is a variety that is not very widespread in Spain, and produces oils with a powerful and bitter flavor.

Color: Lime green

complex oil in nose of green attributes of high intensity where the notes of leaf and freshly cut grass are combined.
Balanced bitter and spicy, in mouth. The presence of nuts stands out, especially walnuts, and vegetables through the retronasal route with a high final persistence.

Our farming system integrates all the knowledge accumulated over generations, with modern technologies resulting from research and development from research centers and agronomy universities.

The situation of the trees following a continuous hedge, allows maximum illumination of all the foliage, which provides a greater accumulation of fatty acids and a homogeneous state of maturity throughout the tree.

The controlled contributions of water and nutrients make the quality of the oil maximum, following our principle of excellence.

The speed in the collection guarantees the optimal state of the fruit at the time of harvest, thus preserving all the aroma and taste of our land and variety.

Koroneiki is a variety of Greek origin. Provides intense, powerful oils with a lot of personality.

After a long and careful path, once the fruit has been obtained, exclusively from our farms, our mission has only just begun...we began to produce Isbilya:

Olive harvest in mid-October. Thus, an increase in fruitiness is achieved (organoleptic characteristic in the tasting that is reminiscent of that of healthy and fresh olives). It entails loss of production, due to the drop in the fat yield of the fruit.

Collection in the less hot hours of the day. It allows the olives to be kept at a low temperature, in order to achieve an authentic cold extraction (22ºC), obtaining an exponential olive elixir.

Collection by riding machine. Thanks to this system we can harvest our entire plantation in a single day, achieving maximum homogeneity in our oils.

We only collect flying olives (on the tree) and positioned in the upper 3/4 parts of the tree where the fruits that will produce the highest quality oil are found.

The grinding is done in less than two hours from its collection.

Extraction Technology. Gea Westfalia, through the latest in extraction technology, obtains its olive juices and submits them to the strictest quality controls.
