Information about Mas Montseny
Like many traditional Catalan farming families, Mas Montseny started everything in the middle of the XNUMXth century, when the first of the Catà saga arrived at the Masía, to work as a homemaker. Where he works with his children. Already at the beginning of the XNUMXth century, one of the grandchildren, Pep montseny bought the house and the land.
He, with his son José Catá Sendrós and godfather of the current saga, convinced the owners of seven farmhouses in the area to agree to work as a cooperative, and thus they built a stone mill to make oil for the seven farmhouses. They join Mas de San Ramón, Mas de la Tocino, Mas de la Pegalós, Mas de Caballero, Mas Santamaria, La Torre de Fàbregas and Mas Montseny.
Mas Montseny is one of those companies that makes us fall in love at MadeinSpain, because they know how to get ahead of their times, and create new trends to remain competitive. Innovation is in the genes of the Catá family, and its current Manager Roger Catà Plana has the same vision, to conquer the world with his wonderful extra virgin olive oil.
